Job Opening # 1

CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR – Invermere

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for a self motivated, responsible individual for a Full Time Customer Service Administrator at our Invermere location @ 410 Panorama Drive.

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm (1/2 hour lunch)

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet walk-in customers and provide helpful counter customer service
  • Answer and / direct telephone inquiries in a kind and polite fashion
  • Accurately enter all payments received in cash register
  • Politely respond to customer inquiries and further assist when required
  • Responsible for maintaining housekeeping duties; washing floors, shelves, countertops, washroom daily.
  • Complete various office admin duties, data entering, phone, mail, fax
  • Assist with inventory counts and repurchasing
  • Occasionally pick stock from warehouse when required or assist with cardlock duties

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Completion High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Strong customer service skills; enjoys working with the public
  • 2 years working experience with excel, word and email
  • Comfortable working as a cashier & making change
  • Good organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform occasional lifting duties (pails & cases)
  • Enjoys working both alone and in a team
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Opening # 2

ONSITE REFUELLING TRUCK DRIVER – 100 Mile House

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for an experienced Onsite Refueling Truck Driver for our 100 Mile House location who is safety driven and cares about the customers they serve. Reporting to the Dispatch and Operations Supervisor, the OSR Driver will work Monday through Friday.  Start time is dependent on business needs and may start as early as 3:00 or 4:00 am.

Some Job Duties Include:

  • Loads, distributes and dispenses fuel and lubricants in most safe and efficient way possible.
  • Conducts a pre-trip inspection and completes all truck inspection reports including log books and fuel receipts.
  • Completes all required documentation, forms, checklists, and reporting within the timelines established.
  • Maintains all truck reference books and price books and ensures they are current and up-to-date.
  • Follows safe loading and unloading procedures at all locations.
  • Operates all equipment in a safe, clean and legal manner at all times.
  • This role is physical in nature and includes pulling hoses and maneuvering in a variety of situations and weather conditions.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills 

  • Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license with air endorsement
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years tandem/tri-drive experience with Class 1
  • Drivers abstract in good standing with ICBC
  • Commitment to quality of work and safety
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be physically fit to perform day to day duties
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving abilities

CARDLOCK, WAREHOUSE AND RECYCLING ATTENDANT – Kamloops

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for a permanent full time Cardlock, Warehouse and Recycling Attendant at our Valleyview Location in Kamloops. If you are self-motivated, enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment we invite you to join our team!

Schedule and working hours: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm

The Role

  • Maintain the site: change windshield buckets, clean squeegees, empty garbage containers, pick up garbage, remove fuel drips, empty overflow dispensers
  • Inspect all equipment (pumps, under pump sumps, hoses, nozzles, card readers, printers, lighting, decals etc.) and ensure all equipment is in working order, complete minor repairs when needed
  • Maintain the warehouse and areas (heavy lifting, bending and twisting is required)
  • Pick orders with accuracy and efficiency (heavy lifting, bending and twisting required)
  • Record and communicate dips, oil water separator levels daily, top up dye tanks in dye injection pumps
  • Assist with inventory counts
  • Complete paperwork associated with day-to-day duties and safety requirements
  • Occasionally provide delivery driving relief

Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class 5 drivers’ license in good standing and reliable transportation
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Physically fit to carry buckets, cases of oil, and to be on your feet a large portion of the day.
  • Commitment to doing a job well, safely and following through on tasks to completion

FUEL TRUCK DRIVER – Kamloops

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for an experienced fuel truck driver who is safety driven and cares about the customers they serve. Reporting to the Dispatch and Operations Supervisor, the Fuel Truck Driver will work 5 days per week with a regular schedule and a flexible start time. Start times are based on business needs and may start as early as 4:00 or 5:00 am.
