Job Opening #1:

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for a self motivated, responsible individual for a Part Time Customer Service Representative & Petro Pass Attendant at our Petro Pass 2780 Acland Rd, Kelowna.

Work Schedule: Friday 7 am – 3 pm, Saturdays & Sundays 7:45 am – 4:15 pm

Some Duties Include:

  • Consistently presenting oneself in a respectful and professional manner inclusive of being well groomed and wearing the appropriate uniform
  • Warmly greet customers and professionally and timely respond to customer inquiries
  • Thoroughly, accurately and clearly complete and process paperwork associated with day-to- day duties and safety requirements
  • Record and communicate dips, oil water separator levels daily, top up dye tanks in dye injection pumps
  • Responsible for maintaining office housekeeping duties; washing floors, shelves, countertops, washrooms etc. daily
  • Responsible for store displays including inventory refill to full shelves, rotation of inventory, layout and presentation
  • Responsible for maintaining & replenishing all food and drink displays
  • Emptying garbages which can exceed 50 lbs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work with cash register and monetary exchanges
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs., ability to carry buckets, and be on your feet for long periods
  • Computer skills with the ability to enter data accurately is a must
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal to no supervision and to be self-motivated
  • Able to think on your feet
  • Valid class 5 drivers’ licence in good standing is an asset

FUEL TRUCK DRIVER – KAMLOOPS – 1 position available

Shift schedule:  Monday to Friday

Hours:  6 am or earlier start – 3 pm

We provide weekend and afternoon shift premiums.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills

  • Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license in good standing with ICBC
  • Minimum 3 years truck driving experience with Class 1
  • Previous experience delivering fuel or oil an asset
  • Tri-drive with Quad or B train and stick shift experience
  • Commitment to quality of work and safety
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be physically fit to perform day to day duties
  • Ability to work independently with good problem-solving abilities

Job Opening # 3

FUEL TRUCK DRIVER – KELOWNA – 1 position available

Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for an experienced Onsite Refueling Truck Driver who is safety driven and cares about the customers they serve. Reporting to the Dispatch and Operations Supervisor, the OSR Driver will work Tuesday through Saturday.  Start time is dependent on business needs and may start as early as 4:00 or 5:00 am.

Some Job Duties Include:

  • Loads, distributes and dispenses fuel and lubricants in most safe and efficient way possible.
  • Conducts a pre-trip inspection and completes all truck inspection reports including log books and fuel receipts.
  • Completes all required documentation, forms, checklists, and reporting within the timelines established.
  • Maintains all truck reference books and price books and ensures they are current and up-to-date.
  • Follows safe loading and unloading procedures at all locations.
  • Operates all equipment in a safe, clean and legal manner at all times.
  • This role is physical in nature and includes pulling hoses and maneuvering in a variety of situations and weather conditions.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills 

  • Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license with air endorsement
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years tandem/tri-drive experience with Class 1
  • Drivers abstract in good standing with ICBC
  • Commitment to quality of work and safety
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be physically fit to perform day to day duties
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving abilities
