Castle Fuels has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Permanent Cardlock Attendant and Delivery Driver in our Invermere location

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am to Noon  (may vary and may be flexible)

Job Summary

The primary job duties will be Cardlock Attendant responsible for maintaining and monitoring the cardlock, oil recycling and warehouse area.

Occasional duties will be Delivery Driver responsible for transporting lubricants and other products in and around Kamloops in the safest and most efficient manner possible.

Some Job Duties Include

  • Complete daily and weekly cardlock clean up, replenishing and inspections.
  • Complete minor repairs including replacing of damaged hoses and nozzles
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum office, bathroom daily and restock as needed.
  • Receive and process warehouse merchandise
  • Provide quality customer service while delivering lubricant products in and around Invermere
  • Process used oil cannisters in preparation for shipment
  • Complete paperwork associated with day-to-day duties and safety requirements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills   

  • BC Class 5 driver’s license in good standing with ICBC
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Physically fit to be on your feet and to perform occasional heavy lifting
  • Good customer service skills & professional demeanor
  • Basic knowledge and comfort level with computers
  • Strong adaptability skills to be able to do various jobs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize your day
  • Commitment to quality of work and safety
  • Enjoys being outside and working independently

Shift schedule:  Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday

Hours:  6 am or earlier start – 3 pm

We provide weekend and afternoon shift premiums.

Some Job Duties Include:

  • Loads, distributes and dispenses fuel and lubricants in the safest and most efficient way possible
  • Provides superior customer service to our clients and other Castle Fuels locations
  • Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections, completes inspection reports, identifies and reports any potential maintenance issues


Experience / Qualifications / Skills

  • Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license in good standing with ICBC
  • Minimum 3 years truck driving experience with Class 1
  • Previous experience delivering fuel or oil an asset
  • Tri-drive with Quad or B train and stick shift experience
  • Commitment to quality of work and safety
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be physically fit to perform day to day duties
  • Ability to work independently with good problem-solving abilities
