At Castle Fuels, we strive each day to ensure we not only meet, but exceed the safety standards that are put in place. With the addition of our new Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Ray Henderson, our EH&S team has gone above and beyond to update our safety manuals and procedures, and we can assure you that all of our sites are informed and operating at the highest possible safety standards. As teamwork and collaboration is a critical part of a thriving business, the senior management team along with the EH&S team has not only updated our Environmental, Health and Safety manuals, but they have also been incremental in our success at managing the COVID-19 pandemic. Our staff are kept up-to-date, with regular communication providing stats on outbreaks and trends, and ensuring that Castle Fuels is adhering to the safety requirements established by Worksafe BC and the recommendations of the BC Provincial Health Authorities. Weekly safety shares keep staff informed of current events, and provide a relevant safety focus to prevent incidents and injuries, including environmental incidents. This not only informs staff, but keeps safety and procedures top of mind in our daily working environments
Following our strict COVID-19 protocols, Safety Ray and the team conduct regular site visits to introduce, distribute and review updated manuals and procedures, and conduct visual inspections and audits to confirm that our sites are operating efficiently and safely. With social distancing and masks in place, we are confident that our sites are well-equipped to safely operate and handle our everyday operations, and we are happy to serve you with the highest quality standard.
This is a highly regulated industry, and we take our responsibilities seriously to keep staff, customers and the environment safe.
Safety has and always will be at the forefront of what drives us.
Please reach out to us today with any questions on our safety protocols at Castle Fuels. We look forward to hearing from you!
