Castle Fuels (2008) Inc. attended the BC Tree Fruits Horticultural Symposium on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020. Held at the Trinity Baptist Church in Kelowna, BC, the event was a great day filled with presentations, trade show booths as well as breakfast, lunch, snacks and a reception sponsored by BASF and WorkSafe BC.
Presenters included Dr. Stefano Musacchi from the Washington State University talking on Innovations in Training System and Orchard Management in Apple, Cherry and Pear; Hank Markgraf with Hank’s Horticulture talking on Apple Hail Netting and whether it is worth it; Dr. Elizabeth Beers with the Washington State University talking on Coddling Moth SIR in Washington; Carl Withler with the BC Ministry of Agriculture presented the Golden Apple Award; among many other speakers and presenters throughout the day.
